Portraits by Chaya was born out of a dream and a passion for photography. I am a people person and enjoy working with all of my clients, at every age and stage. I especially adore babies; what could be more rewarding than working with these little ones to capture beautiful images?! I am creative by nature, have strong attention to detail, and love to work together with you creating that perfect timeless art of your loved ones for you to treasure for many years to come.
I have a Master's degree in Speech and Communication and have worked primarily in public school settings for 10 years. This background has served me well, honing my communication skills with both adults and children alike. Having an education in childhood development helps with planning photoshoots for the little ones appropriately as well as managing expectations for children of various ages throughout the photoshoot.
I have enjoyed portrait photography since my youth and am thrilled to be shooting professionally since 2019, servicing primarily Connecticut. Portraits by Chaya LLC is a fully insured business.
