There are oh so many ways that we can style your session to create those picture-perfect images! After your session is booked and your deposit is paid, I will schedule a personal consultation with you so that I can style the session to your specifications. In my Waterbury, CT photo studio, I have props and equipment to help position baby safely so that we can capture your little one’s unique personality and beautiful smile.

In addition, booking your session entitles you to access to the client closet. I have adorable picture-perfect outfits in various sizes and colors to match your chosen color theme. Clients are welcome to bring in their outfits as well. We can do as many outfit changes as you would like during your session.

Your session is not timed so there is no need to fret if Baby isn't on his/her best behavior right away. Baby photo shoots are usually upward of one hour, allowing time to attend to baby's needs and capture a beautiful portrait gallery.

I use age-appropriate toys to help elicit natural smiles from baby throughout the session. Mom and dad are part of the process as well,  interacting with baby next to me to keep him/her engaged throughout the session.

A few days after your milestone photo shoot, you will be called for your photo reveal. At this in-person viewing session, we'll review your images together and select the images you would like to purchase. You will also have the opportunity to order additional professional-grade prints, wall art, and custom albums.

I will do a thorough edit on each image to make sure your portraits look their very best, and get your images out to you as soon as I can! Need an image sooner for the milestone? I am happy to get 1-2 images to you in advance upon request!

After a full year complete with smiles and joy and many sleepless nights, Baby is turning one! Celebrate this momentous occasion with a themed one-year photography session for Baby. We work together collaboratively to create custom fine art portraits you will love.

After your session is booked and secured with your deposit, we'll meet to discuss your vision for your one-year-old photo session and come up with a theme for your set. I will research and find props that will go well with your theme and present the plan to you before your shoot.

Many first birthday photo sessions include a smash cake for Baby to dive into, though it is most definitely not required for your session. Milk baths and donut or cookie sessions are some other popular choices, while some parents choose to not have any food incorporated in the shoot. Your custom cake is provided  from a top notch professional baker and will be ready in studio for you upon your arrival. 

I have everything we’ll need for the session in my New Haven County portrait studio, including outfits that match various color schemes that you are welcome to use for your shoot, although you can bring your own outfits too. Outfit changes are allowed throughout the shoot if desired.

Want to join Baby for some photos? Parents are welcome to join in for as many images as you would like! Hair and makeup services are provided for Mom to make sure those family images come out absolutely beautiful as well. 

Regardless if we are incorporating food into your session, we make sure to get a varietyof images before we bring out the cake/ other food of choice. This helps us get a nice varied gallery. 

Cakemashes are oh-so-fun and of course, are super messy! The messier the better!! I love capturing those priceless images of a baby digging into the cake. Mom and Dad- no worries, my studio is equipped to deal with the mess and I use only backdrops that are meant to get dirty. In addition, I advise parents to wear clothing you don't mind getting some frosting on, just in case:)

Some babies have the time of their lives enjoying the cake, while others are not so into it. Either way, we will capture priceless expressions of your little one on his/her first birthday.

After you've chosen your images, I put every image through a rigorous editing process. I am a perfectionist and will only be happy when your images are nothing less than perfection!
