I recommend reserving your family session six to eight weeks in advance. Autumn dates often fill earlier, so families hoping for fall foliage should reach out as soon as possible.

Are wardrobe guidance and professional styling included?

Yes. Every family receives personalized wardrobe guidance, and young children may use pieces from our curated client closet. Professional hair and makeup for Mom is also included in the full-service experience.

Where are family portrait sessions held?

Sessions may be photographed in our private Connecticut studio or at a carefully selected outdoor location, depending on the season and the look you want to create.

How long does a family portrait session take?

Family sessions are unhurried and guided at your children's pace rather than limited to a strict shooting window. We allow the time needed for everyone to settle in and create genuine, relaxed portraits.

What happens after the session?

You will return for an in-person ordering appointment to view your portraits and select the images and artwork you love. Options include custom framed wall art, heirloom albums, and tabletop products.

What if the weather does not cooperate?

For outdoor sessions, we will monitor the forecast and make a thoughtful decision together. If the weather would compromise the experience or finished portraits, we will choose an alternate plan or reschedule.
