When to Book Your Bar Mitzvah Photoshoot

Bar Mitzvah Photoshoots are best booked a minimum of 8-12 weeks in advance of your desired photoshoot date. This is a momentous occasion that you don't want to miss capturing!

Planning Your Portrait Session

Your Bar/ Bat Mitzvah photos will celebrate and capture a unique time in your family and young adult's life.  I customize every photo session to suit my client's vision. After your photo session has been booked and secured with a deposit, I will consult with you via phone or a virtual meeting to discuss and plan out your portrait session.

I offer dedicated Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah portrait sessions in the Waterbury area, either in my photo studio or at an outdoor location of your choice in New Haven County or surrounding areas. I love to actualize your vision for your shoot and find the perfect location to create these portraits. Not sure what you would like? I know of many scenic locations and am always happy to make recommendations as well.

Fine-Art Portraits of This Milestone

I love working with your preteen and incorporating Bar and Bat Mitzvah boys and girls ideas in their sessions. We do a combination of posed images and some fun candids to capture images that truly embody your child at this unique stage. Bar/Bat Mitzvah boys and girls love being the center of attention at their photoshoots. Family images with the Bar/Bat Mitzvah boy/girl are a beautiful memory of this time. 

Your Reveal and Artwork Appointment

In the days after your photo session, I'll schedule your reveal session. During this appointment, we will review all of the beautiful images from your child's special occasion and choose your favorite images for purchase. You'll also be able to order premium prints, wall art, photo albums, and more. I'll perform a detailed edit for all of your chosen images before ordering your custom products and sending you the finished portraits.

Event Photography for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs

Whether or not you choose to have a portrait session, I also offer Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah event photography. I'll capture all the highlights from your child's special occasion, including plenty of photos of your family and your loved ones. Images from the event will be lightly edited and delivered to you via a custom USB.
