Planning maternity and newborn portraits together gives a family's first chapter a beautiful sense of continuity. For this family, we chose creams, sage green, and baby blue to connect the two sessions and the heirloom albums that followed.
We used a variety of backdrops, gowns, and outfits to create the maternity gallery below. The gowns shown are part of the studio wardrobe available for sessions.

A few weeks after the maternity session, Mom called to share that her baby had arrived early. We photographed him and his family the following week, using the same soft palette we had planned together.
His gallery brought together more than ten styled sets and portraits with his parents. Each session unfolds at baby's pace, with time for feeding, changing, and settling. Explore the newborn photography experience for current planning details.
We designed custom albums to tell this family's story from pregnancy to their first portraits together with their baby. Coordinating colors make the maternity and newborn photographs feel connected while giving each chapter its own space.
