Sarah’s Bump-to-Baby Photography Experience in Connecticut

When Sarah inquired about a maternity and newborn session I couldn't have been more excited! One of the best parts of my job as a photographer is capturing your family's milestones. To see a couple through this transition is an amazing thing to be a part of!

When Sarah told me she was due in early August, we set the maternity shoot date for mid-June. What a beautiful time of year for an outdoor maternity shoot! We decided on Elizabeth Rose Gardens in West Hartford, a picturesque location where the iconic rose arches were in bloom. We got the most perfect weather day for our golden hour shoot. The parents-to-be were so excited to be there, and we had a wonderful time capturing this time together. The results speak for themselves!

For baby Jack's newborn photoshoot, Mom and Dad wanted to use a mixture of blue and green colors. What a beautiful color combo!

Jack was an absolute champ at his session and let us do just about everything we set out to do! We captured a gallery with gorgeous variety for Mom and Dad complete with a few smiling baby images!

The newborn stage flies away oh so quickly. I am so glad that I was able to capture these images for this beautiful family to preserve their memories of this beautiful time in their lives.
